Amazing shot!

It's a family tradition to go caroling to the neighbors on Christmas Eve. It was a warm evening, so the snow was perfect for making snowballs. As we were leaving one house, I made a snowball to tease our neighbor. I wasn't going to throw it at him, but I did have to get rid of it. As we were getting ready to go to the next neighbor, Jamie took off to grab the box of chocolate from a car in our driveway. I knew I wouldn't actually hit him from that far away, but wanted to spook him. If I got the distance right, it would hit the roof of the car and splatter on him at least.

Well, apparently there was some divine intervention. My apologies, Jamie, for the absolute best shot of my life. A nice, high arcing throw that hit the back of your head and went down your neck. I couldn't do that again no matter how hard I tried! For those of you who missed it, here's a pretty good version from Elf. Those who saw it agreed this is pretty much what it looked like!

wow, how did you get will farrell to reenact that for you and put on the exact same outfit you were wearing?!?!? though i think maybe next year you probably don't need to go out caroling in costume...

This just reinforces that birth order is part of the plan of happiness.
