Open letter to the world

Dear World:

How to recognize spam/junk/etc emails. They:
  1. hype some global threat
  2. try to scare you into doing something
  3. usually include lots of capitalized words and exclamation points
  4. all sound the same
They are easy to spot. They usually start with "FW:" in the subject line, and go straight to my trash.

Should you happen to receive one of these, please put it in your trash, too. You do not have to send it to me.

Thank you.

Everyone in your address book

Yup...most forwards are spam (or just junk email...much like junk mail) and they pretty much go straight to the trash right away.

I don't know about you, but I embrace my Spam because it's a great alternative to having friends. I practically print them out.
